Defining the Interface Components


This command is used to define the following elements of the interface:

Pull-down menu (at the top)

Contextual menu (right click)

Tool Bars

Hotkey

\setgui

 

When this command is given, the following dialog box appears:

Redefining pull-down menu

Click on "Other", then on "…" button next to the current file's name.

A dialog box for file selection asks you to specify the POP file to be used.

HINT: Select a "*.pop" file.

HINT: To display the old pull-down menu (Progress 3 and previous versions), select "OLDPOP.POP" in ARCUSER.

Redefining contextual menu

Click on "Other", then on "…" button next to the current file's name.

A dialog box for file selection asks you to specify the POP file to be used.

HINT: Select a "*_third*.pop" file

Redefining toolbars

Click on "Other", then on "…" button next to the current file's name.

A dialog box for file selection asks you to specify the INI file to be used.

HINT: Select a "*.ini" file

Redefining hotkeys

Click on "Other", then on "…" button next to the current file's name.

A dialog box for file selection asks you to specify the KBD file to be used.

HINT: Select a "*.kbd" file

IMPORTANT: You have to restart ARC+ to apply these modifications. These parameters will be stored till the next modification.
