Basic Concepts

ARC+ is system for designing, creation and presentation for any architectural structure. Instead of simulating the designing techniques used by architects,

ARC+ offers you revolutionary tools that are easier to use and more suitable for three-dimensional designing.

You are absolutely free to use your own designing methods along with the benefits offered by the ARC+ tools.

Your designs are collections of 2D and 3D entities created in real dimensions in space and stored on file.

These models represent the 3D geometric information of a planned building.

Your models may represent any level of design from conception to final construction details.

You can create basic entities from simple prismatic polygon solids to complex walls.

Solids can be sculpted, sectioned and merged.

Sophisticated multi-layer wall entities enable you to resolve complex corners and junctions and insert a variety of openings.

You can select predesigned entities from libraries of 2D and 3D entities, or individualize the libraries with your own designs.

At any stage you can present your model in a number of views and display modes to your client, planning authority or contractor.

You can view the model - initially displayed as a transparent wireframe - with hidden lines removed, colored surfaces, shaded surfaces and cast shadows.

Walk around and through the building in perspective or parallel modes.

Once your design is finalized you can section the model, on any plane; horizontally through each floor for floor plans and vertically for sections.

You can save any view, internal or external, of the sectioned model or the whole as a 2D projection of the screen display.

These drawings form the basis for presentation and production drawings.

Finalize your model or 2D drawing by adding text, dimensions and symbols prior to plotting them.

Your model can also be transferred to interfaces that can be read by other systems thereby allowing successful interaction between the various professions of the building industry.
