Text resize True Type fonts

Opening an ARC+ file 2nd edition or older (2007, 2005, progress etc.) will result in larger display of True Type fonts. Since 2009 Edition the fonts are correct in size, shape and alignment according to software standards. To correct the old size to fit your text in the drawing there are two commands controlling it easily. \txtsize is for one drawing and \mtxtsize is the same but controlling multiple files.

\txtsize

image\ebx_-726553584.gif HINT best is to measure in the older version of arc+ the exact size of a piece of text in your old drawing .Measuring the same text in the new version for this old file will tell you the exact factor to correct.

When invoking the command a dialogue will appear.

You can decide what to scale, by default all selected

Text strings made by \text

Paragraphs made by \textb

Dimensions

Since the underline of True Type Tekst is also correct you can adjust the shift occuring on opening old drawings as well by choosing 'Shift relative' ON.

The scale factor 0.8 for resize is an average expected factor but to be sure and correct the best way is to measure in the old drawing as explained

In the low section 'group on to operate' you can control to resize only a part or the full file what is on the screen.
