Performing a Quick Backup
Saves rapidly the currently displayed model in a file called autosave in the current directory of your hard disk.
\backup
This command works faster than the Saving a file (\save) command, but it stores the file in a format that requires a larger amount of disk space. Use it during the course of an ARC+ session to back up your work on disk. In case of a power failure or other problem, you can restore the model by opening the autosave file.
IMPORTANT At the end of your work session, use the Saving a file (\save) command to store the model under its own filename. To prevent accidental erasure, do not store your work between sessions in the autosave file.
