Draw a Surface Polygon

To draw a surface polygon, you must proceed as the process of creating a regular polygon by defining first and subsequent points. By closing this polygon, an option enables to place the text displaying its surface to a defined location.

Close the polygon (i.e. connect the current point to the first point) by pressing Enter.

When polygon is closed, a menu appears. Select the Surface Polygon option.

A text then appears under the cursor. Click on the position of the text, inside or outside the polygon. It indicates the polygon surface and is formatted according to the default parameters (See the following section: "Define the default surface text")

image\ebx_1693072387.gif NOTE: The surface text is linked to the polygon. Selecting or changing the polygon affects its surface text in the same manner. It is however possible to delink the polygon text by selecting or deleting it.
