Creating a Help Line at an Angle to a Line
Create a pair of help lines at an angle to a line by entering the value or by using a sample.
\hpla
You can create a help line at any angle by:
Angle (degrees)
Percent (slope)
A sample angle
If you choose one of the first two options, enter the desired angle or percentage. Predefined angles are available in the pop-up menus. Indicate the line to serve as a reference line, and then the point at which to draw the help line.
If you want to create a help line using an existing angle in your model, use the BY SAMPLE option. You do not have to know the value of the angle.
Indicate the first and second lines defining the angle. Indicate a reference line for the angle and then the through point at which to draw the help line.
