Changing Dimension Text

Change the text of a specified dimension entity.

\dimut

Type the new text (up to 40 characters including spaces).

Indicate the dimension entity to be changed.

The text is replaced. Its location and attributes remain unchanged.

If you later edit or stretch the dimension line, the correct dimension is recalculated and replaces your previous text. To add superscript dimension text, type the ^ (Shift+6) symbol before and after those characters that are to appear in superscript.
