Breaking a Line or Arc into Segments
Break a line or arc into segments, keeping their original position and attributes.

Select one of the following options:
by point
Indicate the line/arc and define the breaking point (which must be within the limits of the indicated entity).
by no. of segments
Enter the required number of segments and indicate the line/arc. All segments are equal.
by size of segments
Indicate the line/arc (on the side to start). Enter the length/angle of the segment. Note that the last segment (at the opposite extreme to the indication point) may be smaller than the length/angle.
Once you have performed the command, each segment becomes a separate entity.
